Subject: Another Beauty
Check this one out. This show is phenomenal. The McLovins get better every show - I have been saying that for the last 2 years now... Just so fluid and everchanging. To start out with free form jamming is the best - MMW would always do that I just think it is the best way to get a show started. Just feel the room and go with it. Caravan is one of my all time favorite covers too. Cohesive is going in new directions and growing as a song. I'm sure Tom and Ant will like this version. The classic McLovin tunes never get old either as you will hear with this DMT, Purple Trees (How about that ending...), and the Milktoast Man is as good as ever.

I also love how the band has approached YEM as of late - there is no pressure to do the song ala the album version. We all know they can nail it technically so now they just take it wherever they feel and have fun with it. Such a fun song and this is how it should be.

One of my great pleasures is hearing all of Jeffrey's teases throughout. So far I have heard Peaches Teases in YEM and Virtual Circle, Moma in DMT and a little Katy Perry thrown in for fun (Somebody kissed a girl and liked it apparently...). I am sure there are plenty more in there and probably stuff I don't know but it definitely keeps it interesting and makes it even more fun to listen intently.

Great stuff - thanks for taping Greg. Your hard work does not go unnoticed...

Notes

This a very organic sounding recording. The mics were behind most of the crowd and there is a lot of crowd interaction.
The Iron Horse doesn't provide any feed off the board. This was a fun venue and the crowd was into the music.

If you're having trouble listening to FLAC24, you can use CDBurnerXP (http://cdburnerxp.se) to burn directly to CD.
I've put both the flac16 and flac24 versions up.
